Give me the Music, News and Entertainment!

This is where it gets exciting.  Beyond the technology hype, audio quality and money, Satellite Radio provides an incredible amount of content.  With both providers broadcasting over a 100 channels each there is plenty of stuff to listen to, dance to and inform you on both XM and Sirius.

Pop:

Let's talk about pop music.  Both XM and Sirius offer a number of pop channels.  They each play more diverse music than the standard radio top 40.  Both providers also have channels geared toward specific decades; 50s - 90s.

Rock and Roll:

Move over Britney Spears, between the XM and Sirius there are 31 Rock and Roll stations.  Since the sound of Rock and Roll has been redefined thru generations, both companies offer classic rock, alternative rock, college and hard rock.  Sirius even has an '80s Hair Band channel, but we wont hold that against them.

TV:

What's TV got to do with it?  MTV and VH1 both appear on the XM Line up.  Both Companies also have plenty of other TV stations.  Court TV, E!, CNN, and Fox News to name a few.

Country:

Who knew Country Music had so much diversity?  The channels range from today's Sirius's Outlaw Country  to XM's Progressive Country.
